What happened
Answers to 92 of the 100 questions in the Grade D paper were circulating on social media at about 8.30 am on 31 Oct 2021, hours before the 2-4 pm exam; candidates complained but no offence was registered until the health department's chief administrative officer filed an FIR under the IPC and the Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act 1982. Pune cyber police filed a 3,816-page chargesheet against 20 arrested accused in Feb 2022; the same investigation went on to uncover the MHADA leak and TET malpractice, 44 arrests across five cases.
