CBI confirmed a leak confined to Hazaribagh (Jharkhand)/Patna (Bihar); question paper reached a set of candidates for Rs 30-32 lakh. SC declined a nationwide retest; only the 1,563 grace-mark candidates were retested on 23 June 2024. Over 40 arrested across CBI and Bihar EOU.
